1 Hard Rock or 2 Beau Rivage Casinos? How do you choose, double or nothing ?!

What can we say except that our guests at Majestic Oaks have so many great entertainment and dining options here in the Biloxi area, but two of our favorites that combine fine dining and world-class entertainment are the Hard Rock and Beau Rivage Casinos.

What can we say except that our guests at Majestic Oaks have so many great entertainment and dining options here in the Biloxi area, but two of our favorites that combine fine dining and world-class entertainment are the Hard Rock and Beau Rivage Casinos.

They’re both a short, easy drive from our Majestic Oaks RV Resort, and close to each other just on the other side of I-110, so you can easily visit both in a single evening out on the town.   If you’re staying with us, or have family visiting, here are the differences depending on your desires or your visitors’ ages and desires.  Each venue has its own vibe, but we’ll let you decide for yourselves which you prefer. Probably, like for us, it will be both!

Entertainment… Hard Rock is universally known for its music and entertainment.   Here in Biloxi, they bring in great groups to Hard Rock Live, and the vibe IS lively. Their signature bars, ILov305 is Miami themed, while Live #Remix is Top 40s with top Gulf Coast DJs spinning all night long.  Their rock and roll vibe attracts a younger and active crowd, so if you have teen or younger adults visiting the area, the Hard Rock would be our suggestion for a night out or for them to stay.

1 Hard Rock or 2 Beau Rivage Casinos? How do you choose, double or nothing

Beau Rivage takes a different tack on entertainment.  They attract special events such as fashion shows, trunk shows, benefits, etc.  So, while Hard Rock has its signature clubs and invites internationally recognized bands, Beau Rivage is a bit more conventional, but has noteworthy events.  As we said, we like them both, for different reasons and depending on what’s going on at the time.  We just learned that Beau Rivage is having a Christmas spectacular, so that’s on our calendar this year.

Dining… Wow, it’s hard to choose.  Hard Rock has more nationally recognized dining options while the Beau Rivage offers both fine and casual dining options under their own brands.  We love a good steak, and frankly we like ours right here on the BBQ at Majestic Oaks,

but for those special occasions such as anniversaries or birthdays, we head out for fine dining, and the Hard Rock offers us great options such as the Half Shell for locally sourced awesome seafood, or Ruth’s Chris for those signature steaks, entrees, and deserts.  Beau Rivage offers the fabulous BR Prime, a great steak and lobster option, but unfortunately BR Prime closes on Sundays and Mondays.  Hard Rock’s dining options are available every day of the week, but just so you know, at the Hard Rock all guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult 30 years or older.

Gaming… For those who enjoy gambling, both Casinos have got you covered.  Hard Rock offers 50 games including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Pai Gow, Three-Card Poker Ultimate Texas Hold’em, High Card Flush and Mississippi Stud.  Their machines offer 500 interactive video slots, and 900 exciting games featuring the most up-to-date games available.

Beau Rivage has an amazing 1800 slot machines so you’ll probably never have to look far to find an open one.  And, of course, they have all your traditional table game favorites like Craps and Roulette, along with unique assortment of intriguing games including Mini & Midi Baccarat, Single Deck Blackjack, Crazy 4 Poker, 3 Card Poker, Pai Gow, Mississippi Stud, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and more.  As a part of the MGM family, their MGM Rewards Program offers you the bonus and loyalty points for your continued playing and patronage.

Loyalty and Special Programs… Hard Rock has its own three-tier loyalty program for use primarily at this casino and some surrounding establishments.  Beau Rivage, as we said, is part of the MGM chain of hotels and casinos so the rewards are more universal throughout the MGM family.  Beau Rivage also has discount programs for Locals as well as Active Military and Veterans with discounts and special offers for these two groups.

Beau Rivage has teamed up with Uber to offer hassle-free pick-up and drop-off and payment options so you don’t have to drive or search out a taxi.  You know, there’s nothing worse than having a great evening out and then trying to find a reliable and safe alternative to get home.  With Beau Rivage and Uber, they’ve got you all set!

Hard Rock lives up to its name.  They have a sensational music package for every one of your visitors staying with them.  It’s called The Sound of Your Stay® program. It’s an exclusive audio experience that puts their guests up close and personal with the music. Whether you want to rock out or just tune in and listen, they’ll fix your guest up for free through their tracks.®, picks.®, and wax.® amenities programs.

So, as we said… It’s really hard to choose.  We go to both the Hard Rock and the Beau Rivage.  We’ve never had a bad meal or bad experience at either.  We’re not big gamblers…but It’s fun to try our luck from time to time, and the entertainment never fails us.  We’re so lucky to be situated so close to both of these great venues that have so much to offer, that we’re never bored.  But, after a night out on the town, it’s always super to come back here to Majestic Oaks, rest, recover, get up late, and just put a couple of burgers on the grill the next day for lunch.
